The PASSIONATE CHANGEMAKER AWARD recognizes gifted learners who are compelled with a heightened sense of fairness and with a conviction to take action based on their values. This award is intended to honor a Maine high school student who has been identified as Gifted/Talented, and who has demonstrated the attributes of a Passionate Changemaker.

1. DEADLINE for scholarship applications is March 1, 2025 (no exceptions).

Outstanding educator

The OUTSTANDING EDUCATOR is awarded for significant contributions the nominee has made to the field of gifted education and, if applicable, specifically to the education of gifted students in his/her school or district.

summer mini grants

The SUMMER MINI GRANT award is a grant of no more than $800 to a student who needs financial assistance in order to attend a special summer learning or enrichment opportunity. The opportunity should be well matched to the student’s needs, interests, and talents.
